The owner of So Glass Designs, Steven Olson, has been working with glass and creating beautiful stained-glass works of art for more than 15 years. He personally designed and built almost every stained-glass piece featured on this site.

When Steven was only 15-years-old, tragedy struck when he was completely paralyzed from the chest down due to a horrible motorcyle accident and was forced to live the rest of his life dependent on a wheelchair to get around. Fortunately, Steven did not let this life-altering injury consume him, and he turned to art to fill the void. His loss is our gain for none of his wonderful creations would be with us today for all of us to admire if it were not for that fateful day.

In 1998, after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, Steven decided to begin putting all his time, effort, and energy into his stained-glass artwork. All the pieces you see on this site are the fruits of that labor.
